Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale. Click here to see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the sale.

Supplies Needed

HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.

STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, the Rhea Lana Store or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.

You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .

If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.

Consigning Clothing

The better they look, the better they sell!
Please take time to wash and iron your clothes if necessary.
Please check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, hole, etc.
We will be double checking at the store and will not receive any item that is not in excellent condition.
Use children's plastic hangers for sizes 10 and below.
Use larger plastic hangers for sizes 12 and above. You may also use wire coated hangers as long as they are size appropriate.

NO METAL HANGERS, PLEASE! Plastic and wire-coated hangers can be purchased at discount stores.
We are receiving Spring & Summer Clothing in Children's, Junior, and Maternity sizes.

Transitional items for Spring & Summer are okay - including: jeans, khakis, leggings, light weight jackets, long-sleeve t-shirts, and hoodies.

We will be unable to accept heavy winter items, winter boots, and winter holiday items (such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and/or Christmas)

All pants must be pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor. See our videos for visuals!
Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together. With pants hung on the back of the shirt at the waist. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.

Items Limits!

We are not limiting baby, maternity, teen clothing or shoes.
Please only bring your like-new, seasonally appropriate clothing and shoes!

For shoes, put your consignor number and price on masking tape on the bottom of both shoes. Then safety pin the price tag to a shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet.

We prefer that you zip tie the shoes together rather than putting them in a plastic bag. Each Consignor number will hold up to 300 items - this is what is included in your $10.00 participation fee.

Acceptable Bedding

We will accept the following items for our bedding section:
Crib size sheets
Toddler bed size sheets
Twin size and full-size bedding
Sleeping bags
Pillows
Blankets

We will not be able to accept:
Queen or King size sheets
Crib bumpers (including mesh bumpers)
Comforters of any size larger than a full
Duvet covers
Sheets can be placed on a hanger and use a safety pin to secure it.
Use a safety pin to attach the string tag to the sheet.
Please roll sleeping bags up neatly and pin the string tag to the sleeping bag.

Blankets & Swaddles

Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together on a hanger and pin them together. Safety pin the tag to the blankets.

Misc. Items

Items sell better when they are on a hanger rather than in a bag. Items such as bibs, burp cloths, cloth diapers and onesies should be placed on a hanger and secured with a safety pin. Also use a safety pin to attach the string tag to the item.

Bottles, rattles, socks, bows, etc group together appropriately in ziploc bags. Attach the string tag to the inside of the bag using a small piece of tape on the top part of the string tag.

Please do not tape your bags closed until after they have gone through consignor check in. It also helps to write your consignor number and info on the plastic bag with a permanent marker in case the tag comes off during the sale.

We will not accept used nipples or pacifiers - only new, in the package of these items.

Toys, Furniture & Equipment

Must be clean and in working order (batteries included.)

Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated, the item will not sell.

Books and DVD's do not need to be put in ziplock bags. If are you grouping them you can place them in a ziplock bag.

Attach the string tag to the inside of the bag using a small piece of tape at the top of the string tag. It is also good to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc bag with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off.

DVD's and video games should not be taped shut until after they have been through consignor check in.

Puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear Saran wrap to keep the pieces intact.

All toys and games MUST include ALL pieces. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

We are only able to accept stuffed animals that are battery operated or a name brand (Such as Disney, Build-a-Bear, etc).

Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor information. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off! We sell 95% of Toys, Furniture and Baby Equipment!

Toy recall information- Due to the high number of toy recalls during the past year, we will be inspecting toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any toy that we think might have been recalled. To help us, please do not bring any toys that have been subject to a recall.
