Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale. To see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the sale, view the Acceptable Items page.

Supplies Needed

HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items, we only accept plastic hangers. You can purchase hangers from from Wal-Mart, Target, or Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront..

STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels. You can purchase string tags from Wal-Mart, office supply stores, Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront..

SAFETY PINS – You can purchase large quantities of safety pins from the Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront..

BARCODE LABELS – If you would like to print your barcodes at home, you'll need adhesive address labels size 1"x2 5/8" (30/page). You can purchase labels from Wal-Mart, Target, office supply stores, or Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront.. All barcode labels must be printed in color.

OTHER SUPPLIES – You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc.), masking tape, scotch tape, and sharpies. You can purchase other supplies from Wal-Mart, Target, office supply stores, or Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront..

Clothing

The better they look, the better they sell! Please take time to wash and iron your clothes if necessary. Please check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc.

We will be checking your items at the store and will not receive any item that is not in excellent condition.

Use small PLASTIC hangers for sizes 8 and below. Use larger PLASTIC hangers for sizes 10 and above. Metal hangers will not be accepted! Plastic hangers can be purchased at discount stores. This makes shopping more pleasant for everyone!

To view the acceptable items for our upcoming event go to the consign tab and then acceptable items from the drop menu.

Please group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $4.00. They need to be pinned together as well so they don't get separated. Please do not enter one single onesie or one single sleeper (unless they are boutique brands). These items will not sell individually. Bundle them to make a great deal!

All pants must be clipped or pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor and shoppers want to see the entire pant to purchase.

Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together with pants hung on the back of the shirt. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.

Shoes

We will be accepting clean shoes in great condition! As shoes can be difficult to tag, please follow these guidelines to be sure shoes remain together:

1) Write your consignor number and price on masking tape, placing on the inside of both shoes, this will help if they get separated.

2) Use a zip-tie to keep shoes together, and safety pin the price tag to a shoe lace, through the shoe eyelet or hang directly on the zip tie.

Seasonal event reminder:
No boots or fur lined shoes for the spring/summer event.

No flip flops for the fall/winter event.

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT SHOES WITH SCUFFED TOES, DIRTY OR DISCOLORED SOLES.

Bedding & Blankets

We will only be accepting baby blankets, crib sheets and children's/juniors-themed twin and full-sized bedding. We will NOT be accepting crib bumpers or any size above full.

Please hang bedding on an adult size, plastic hanger and secure with a safety pin. Shoppers want to be able to feel and see the bedding before they purchase it.

Toys, Furniture, and Baby Equipment

All items must be clean and in working order (batteries included.) Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely (We recommend placing them in a ziplock bag and zip tying it to the larger item. Label each item of the set with your Consignor ID and price and 1/2, 2/2, etc. If parts get separated the item will not sell, so we need to be able to clearly see what goes with which items. Games should be taped closed. Puzzles, books, videos and small toys should be grouped accordingly and put in ziploc bags. Secure with clear packing tape and pin tag to the inside of ziploc bag. It is also good to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc bag with a permanent marker in case the tag comes off. Puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear plastic wrap to keep the pieces intact. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

We will only accept name-brand stuffed animals in like new condition.

Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor ID and price. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off! We sell 95% of Toys, Furniture and Baby Equipment!

Toy and baby gear recall information- Due to the high number of toy recalls during the past year, we will be inspecting toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any item that we think might have been recalled. To help us, please do not bring items that have been subject to a recall. Car Seats

Carseats must have at least one year of use left before the manufacturer's expiration date. It must not be subject to recall or have been in an accident. You may check the following website for current recalls: www.carseat.org/Recalls/179NP.pdf All seat covers and straps must be thoroughly cleaned. You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver stating your car seat has all the pieces and is in excellent condition. Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons. For our Spring event, the car seat must not expire prior to April 2027.

Furniture

Consign your nursery, kid's room or play-room furniture with us. Furniture items, such as gliders, desks, game chairs, kid's tables and chairs and other furniture items sell REALLY WELL WHEN PRICED APPROPRIATELY. All furniture must be in EXCELLENT condition and clean. Please plan to assemble all items prior to leaving check-in/drop and go.

Cribs

Due to the thousands of recalls and the crib regulations being raised, we will not sell any crib manufactured before June 2011. Contact the manufacturer of your crib to find out if it is recalled. Most companies will send you a repair kit or give you instructions on how to return your crib for a refund. We do not accept any drop-side cribs. We DO accept pack-and-plays and bassinets.
